Short-term Glory.

 

What is short-term glory? This is when someone just achieved a huge breakthrough, just as soon as people are congratulating him, the enemy (devil) comes and snatches it away. 

Short-term glory is when you get the position you have been dreaming about, and all of a sudden your bad past rears its ugly head and spoils everything.

Short-term glory is when Mr. A has been praying for financial breakthrough, job breakthrough for years, and all of a sudden the breakthrough finally comes, he gets employment letter. And he goes for medicals then this happens;

Doctor says: Sorry Sir, we did a test on your blood sample and you have HIV.
So he has gotten the glory, but just for a short while.

Facts: The devil, on his own does not want anyone succeeding. So once you succeed, know that you have just made yourself his No.1 target.

That’s why they said, the main issue is not getting to the Top but staying there.

I laugh when some people get a major breakthrough and they say thank God, now I can finally relax. 

Causes of Short-term glory and Solution  

    1. Disobedience to God - God told a prophet in the Bible, 1Kings 13. Go to Bethel, eat nothing there, and drink nothing there. He disobeyed God and followed the voice of man. He ended up dying.
Same with Adam & Eve, God said don’t eat this apple…they chose to obey the voice of ordinary serpent. They got booted out. They enjoyed the glory of Garden of Eden but just for a short time. (Same way right now God is saying don’t do this, don’t do that. But that your friend is pressurizing you. Don’t mind him o.)

2.  2.Too cold/Too quiet – The kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence and the violent taketh it by force. Even the Bible tells us to be as wise as the serpent. If you want people to take advantage of you, trust me, people will. Who told you life was fair ?
I’ll give you two scenarios:
Scenario 1:  David & goliath. Goliath told David he was gonna cut off his head, did David keep quiet? Nope . Rather he responded telling him, it is me David that will cut off your own head. And what happened? David did cut off goliath’s head.
Scenario 2: John the Baptist was in prison, and Herod sent them to cut off his head. Did he keep quiet? Unfortunately yes. If only John had said, Mr. Herod, it is your head I will cut. He would have actually cut it.

Summary: Don’t be dull. If you see something you don’t like, speak up. If someone is trying to take your property, rise up and claim ownership. Sometimes recovery is by force.

3 3. Failing God’s Test of “little beginnings”- More often than not, before God gives you a giant breakthrough, he will first of all test you with little breakthroughs to see if you are capable of utilizing it well. God wants to see how you managed the little He has given you.
If you managed it well, then He will give you much.
If you remember the parable in Bible in Matt 25- 15-28.
Servant 1 was given 5Million, he traded with it, and made extra 5 Million.

Servant 2 was given 2 Million, he traded with it and made extra 2 million.
Servant 3 was given 1Million, he didn’t trade, and he considered it too small. He was afraid to use the talent. He buried it.   What happened?
The very 1Million that he had was taken away from him.

That is exactly what I mean by short-time glory. He had 1 Million today, and lost it the next day.

Lesson: Don’t despise the day of little beginnings.

Of course this goes same with relationships, marriage, and business.

In relationships, some ladies, the guy they are looking for, I don’t think he has been born yet. A handsome, rich, tall, with six-packs, a fast car. Living in Lekki. But they fail to reason that most of the rich men now; Dangote, Leostan, Mark Zuckerberg, were once normal ordinary and struggling guys. But ofcourse they traded with their talents, and they grew.

So the ordinary guy beside you now might be the Bill Gate of tomorrow.
For Some guys, they want a lady with Nicki-Minaj body, Beyonce’ bank account, Rihanna’s voice etc.  Instead of them looking for someone that will help their destiny.

“Marrying a woman because of her beauty is like buying a house because of the paint”. Sooner or later, the paint will fade, and your eyes will open.

It’s good to thank God, but it’s even better to thank God and get closer to him. Really, that’s our only secure place. God is Fire, and that Fire protects us. You know it’s only a mad man that will see fire and put his hand inside. So to be secure in life, let’s get closer to Him. Live Holy and automatically He comes and dwells in you and His fire protects you.

When God Remembers You....

Dear Beloved,
     When God remembers you, one miracle is all you need. Just that one miracle is enough to take care of you in a lifetime.
On the day God decides to remember you, all your problems automatically vanishes.
Just one miracle on the day God remembers you will erase all your years of suffering and wandering.
God's Miracle, is just like light. It is Light. Once light comes into a place you can't see darkness anymore, it disappears. Can you explain the mystery how darkness disappears immediately light comes? No.

That is same way you won't be able to explain the automatic transition in your life when God remembers you and visits you with miracle.
Gen 30:22- Leah and Rachel got married to Jacob. Leah had six sons, Rachel did not have any. So after years of worry, pain, she prayed and God remembered her. And what happened? God gave her Joseph.
Question: Can you compare Joseph with all the six sons of Leah put together? No
So just that one son of Rachel; "Joseph", erased all Rachel's years of suffering.
Now lets talk on who Joseph is, just so you know the extent of the joy you get when God remembers you. 
Gen 37:6-8
Gen 37:28- when God blesses you, no matter how the devil tries, they won't succeed in killing your blessing. they planned to kill Joseph, God ministered and they sold him to Egypt.
In Potiphars house, he was Potiphar's vice. Again the devil tried to kill him by framing him up to have slept with Potiphar's wife. Again God ministered and instead they kept him in prison.
From prison he went to the king's house. (Potiphar was the king's official, so Joseph was promoted above Potiphar).
Keypoints: 
1. After God remembers you, and gives you victory, it does not end there. The devil is a tireless fighter, the devil will always try to snatch away that miracle. But you too have to be a more tireless warrior. The only way to make the devil give up is to show your ever readiness to war.
2. Maintain Holiness to God, and you will continue to grow. (Joseph refused to sleep with Potiphar's wife)
3. Everywhere you are is a stepping stone, keep working, using your talents wherever you are. (Joseph used his talents of dream/vision). There's a famous blogger in Nigeria-Linda Ikeji was aspiring to be a super-model, but by the side she had talents of writing. Guess what, its the writing talent that promoted her destiny. Lesson- Use every talent you have.
4. "God's Will" will surely come to pass as long as you follow step No.1,2 and 3 above.
Gen 37 6-8: Joseph dreamt that he would be king and all his brothers will bow to him.
Gen 41:41: Joseph becomes the Govenor of Egypt
Gen 42: 6- Josephs brother came to him and they all bowed their faces to the ground unto him.

I don't Understand......I just don't

I don't Understand












I sincerely don't.
How do people claim to be all righteous, all charitable, portray a Holier than thou attitude, but when it come to matters concerning them, they quietly act like a monster.

I don't understand how you can claim to be a good girl and still be worse than a bad-girl.

I know a certain lady, she doesn't wear sexy clothes, she doesn't wear any dress that reveals her nudity, she always always cover-up everything in dress-code. She portrays this good-girl, can't hurt a fly attitude.
Geez, she even stopped wearing make-up. And all is applauding her as a good girl.

Now what I don't understand is this- This same lady, in 2012 snatched a woman's husband (Her producer). Her producer, Swiz Beat, was married, and was producing for her. Then all we heard was he divorced his wife,  and got engaged to Alicia keys the next month. That's just very wicked of some ladies. Ladies please, if You see a man is married, it means he is taken, look somewhere else. I would rather prefer a lady that wears pant and bra in her videos, but still has a good heart and will never snatch someone's hubby and make the man's wife and children un-happy for life.

 Another one is Nuella Njubigbo- She is a pretty, sexy actress in Nigeria. So again, her producer was busy producing a movie which she was acting, and then she started eyeing him. and flirting. Tchidi Chikere(Producer) was a happily Married man. with children. So after months of working with Nuella, we hear Tchidi is divorcing his first wife, and fast worward to some months time, he is getting married to Nuella.
Is it that these ladies just have a thing for their boss(whether married or not)? Idon'tunderstand.

The latest one now is Tonto Dikeh. Tonto married a single Man called Churchill. All through Churchill was single, the ladies didn't see him, notice him. The moment he got married to Tonto, all of their eyes couldn't get off him.
So Churchill married Tonto in 2015. So Churchill had a personal assistant, Rosaline Meurer.
Rosaline Meurer was at the wedding, saw him getting maried to Tonto. Heard the Priest say "What God has joined together let no man put asunder" .
Immediately after the wedding, Meurer started flirting and now sleeping with Churchill. Now his marriage with Tonto is broken.
I just don't understand what is it with ladies and married men. A guy isn't married, they don't notice him, the second he gets married, he becomes like shinning gold to them that they just want to lay their hands on.
Please, biko, if you do mistake and sleep with a married man, let him go. Don't hijack him and now want him to be yours. He is NOT. Go and find yours. The single guy that is crazy over you, you're not seeing that one, it is the married man that you want. Please for the love of God, be wise. Don't be covetous.
Definition of Covetousness- ..having or showing a great desire to possess something belonging to someone else.

Exodus 20:17 - Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife/husband.
Romans 13:9 - For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet(take another woman's husband); and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matt 7:12- Whatsoever you want people to do to you, do also to them. So all you snatchers of husbands, i tell u, someone else will snatch away what u just snatched.

Dead on Arrival

What can make a blessing dead on arrival
What can make an expectation, dead on arrival
What can kill good-luck on arrival
What can kill a person just seconds before his breakthrough arrives.

It is what we call dead on arrival spirit, or can also be termed failure at the edge of breakthrough.
Dear Beloved, I want you to know fr certain that the devil has no power to stop what God has designed for your life. Even the devil knows that one. He dares not.
Cos when God says Yes, no one can say No.
So what the devil cleverly does is to look into the future, and see how he can start planning now, so that just before your breakthrough arrives , he strikes.
How does the devil strike?
1. Tricks- Because he knows the only way he can stop you fro getting to your promised land is by tricks. Speaking of promised land; Moses was a man destined to be great, destined to lead the Israelite to the promised land. The devil knows Moses was filled with the power of God, and could not stop him. So what does the devil do? He seats down and begin to think......how he can stop Moses, and came up with an idea- anger. Exo 32:19
On a certain day, he provoked Moses and made Moses broke the tablet of stone that God gave him, on which the commandment was written. And that made God angry, and God said Moses will see the promised land but won't enter. That is what we call ''dead on arrival''.

A certain man, a Nigerian working in UK. Was doing about 4 jobs. overworking and stressing himself. So on a particular day after closing from his third job, he fell down , and in a sec he was dead. So as the doctors located his address and came to tell the news to his family members. On arriving at the man's house, they heard loud music, singing and dancing. So the man's daughter opened the door to them, she was all joyous and dancing telling them to seat down, eat and rejoice, that they just got a letter from the mail that their father(the dead man) has just been made an ambassador to England.
So that's why they were all dancing. As the doctors broke the news to them that the proposed ambassador died hours ago. Their joy turned to sorrow. Dead on arrival.

A young lady, an actress named Rebecca Schaeffer, has been aspiring to be a big star. She did some movies, but they weren't really hit movies. So she continued to look for that 'big movie break' that will make her a world celebrity. So the day came, she got a role in God-Father III. The day she was suppose to meet with the director of God-Father III, who was to sign her contract, which will automatically make her a star. On that Morning, a random man, knocked on her door, and shot her 7times.
Who was the man?
Why was it on that very day of her most important meeting?
The man was just a mentally derailed man, that saw her on television and believed she was his wife.
The mental guy, saw another movie of her, where she kissed some guy and became very angry. He traced her house, and shot her. Just like that. She was killed by someone she never met before.

Why was it on that day of meeting- Because the meeting was her big breakthrough and the devil's only way of stopping her was preventing her from going. Dead on Arrival.

The only way to prevent this is to stay clean and always pray.

Vol2: Time; Your Most precious asset.(Hard-work)

 Time: Time is the only asset that keeps on moving, tirelessly. Time is the only asset that no one can claim ownership of. Time is the only asset that never forgives. Once it goes, no matter how much you plead with it, it will never reverse. So is time wicked? Nope.
Here i will teach you the few tricks to move at same pace with time, and then overtake time.
Trust me, it feels so good to overtake time.

2. Work Extra hard...
If you want to be ahead of everyone, you have to work more than everyone. You can't work exactly like others do and expect to receive a higher rewards. It doesn't work like that. Life is what you put in, it gives back to you. So for you to beat time, you need to work extra hours. You will sleep when you are buried, so no need to sleep now....Keep working hard on that innovation. It will pay off. The difference between star and good is just hard work.
If you do what you are suppose to do efficiently they say you're good. But if You do more than what you're suppose to do....you become a star.
But how can one do more than what he's suppose to do, he must have put in extra effort. Must have worked extra hrs. There is a saying that ...Hard-work always pays. can also be translated as Hard-work never fails....

A word of wisdom: They say when you're very Rich you don't sleep for more than 3hrs...On the contrary, The truth is Rich people became rich because they slept for less than 3hrs daily, and after they became rich they can't sleep more because they don't want to go poor. 
"Hard-work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard".
Proverbs 24:33-34 say: A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of hands to rest and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.

There you have it, the second secret to overtaking time, and beating time...if you want to be ahead in your game........

Time; Your most precious asset.

God has blessed me with a lot of asset in the world. I've got gold, silver, diamond & platinum. I have tons of money. I've got oil well and blocks. But with all these wealth, I begin to wonder, what can't one buy?. Well one can't buy Salvation and also can't buy time.


Time: Time is the only asset that keeps on moving, tirelessly. Time is the only asset that no one can claim ownership of. Time is the only asset that never forgives. Once it goes, no matter how much you plead with it, it will never reverse. So is time wicked? Nope.
Here i will teach you the few tricks to move at same pace with time, and then overtake time.
Trust me, it feels so good to overtake time.

1. Knowledge- Knowledge is key in whatever we do. What is knowledge? knowledge is simply knowing the solution to a problem. Knowledge is knowing what to do on-time in a difficult situation. "Dictionary meaning of knowledge is being aware of something".
When the Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge. It means my people are useless without knowledge.

To beat Time, you need to acquire future knowledge now. I mean, right now.
I'll give you instances,
I acquired about $1,000 worth of Bank shares in 2006. In 2008, i got knowledge that shares were going to crash. I sold mine in February, 2008 for $2,500 (Making a profit of $1500). By June, 2008 the shares of all banks had crashed, the shares i sold $2500 was worth about $300. So i would have made a loss of $700 if not for knowledge. 
If i had lost $700, how can i get it back, I have to work, and put in Time right.
So directly or indirectly TIME IS MONEY and MONEY IS TIME. 

TIME is LIFE and LIFE is TIME. When they say he is 10Yrs old, what that means is he is (24 x 365 x 10 )hrs. 

Gen 3:3- But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
So God gave Adam prior knowledge. Unfortunately he disobeyed.

Gen 6:13,14-God gave Noah Knowledge that He was going to destroy the earth, and commanded him to make an ark. Noah made use of the knowledge and was saved.

Bill Gates had knowledge of Microsoft. Only he knew how to develop Microsoft software. And he put a patent on it. That's what made him rich. He saw the future, he could see a computer in every home as at 30 years ago. That's exactly how it is now...Knowledge.

If two people leave for "Abuja city" and are travelling to "Lagos city"...One is a first-timer on the journey while the other has the knowledge of the routes and has been there several times.... ....It will definitely take the first-timer longer time before he gets to his destination. (That's what lack of knowledge does....wastes times).
